A Guide to
E-Pattern Downloads
Downloads
are a great way to get the
patterns you love FAST.
Order this morning and be
painting this afternoon!
Best of all . . . NO postage
costs.

WHAT YOU NEED: |
|
|
| |
Computer -- any
operating system (VISTA, XP,
2000, ME, Mac, etc.)
|
|
| |
Internet
Connection -- Dial-up
works fine. It's
just a little slower.
|
|
| |
Printer --
Patterns have been
formatted as pdf's, 8
1/2 x 11 paper size, so
they'll print on all
home printers.
|
|
|
 |
Adobe Reader --
Version 5.0 or higher.
Click on the icon at
left if you need a copy.
It's free.
|
|
|
 |
WINZIP -- Only if
you are running a 98 or
2000 operating system.
It's free, too.
If
you are using Windows
XP or VISTA,
your computer has
built-in support for zip
files
and you do NOT
need a
Winzip Program.

 |
TweakMASTER --
This is not something
you need, but if you
would
like to try to speed up
your internet
connection, you might
like to try this
program.
I tried it out and
absolutely love it. |

HOW IT WORKS:
1. E-Patterns
are set up on a
separate section of
the online catalog. Find the
E-Pattern Downloads
you want and add them
to your cart. To be sure you are ordering a downloadable pattern set,
they all will begin with an "E-" before the stock
number and "Download" will appear after the title.
2. Proceed
to checkout.
Check to be sure
that each item in
your cart says "Download".
3. There is
NO postage charge
for Downloads.
4. After
your payment has
been confirmed, you
will receive a
confirmation email
and an additional
email containing your download links. Either
click on the link in
that email, or --
5. A page
will open containing
each pattern link in
your order.
Just click each link
to begin
downloading.
**** For PayPal
Users, click
"Continue" on your
confirmation page.
Your links
should appear.
Just click each link
to begin
downloading.
The best way to
ensure that you get
your
downloads with the
least amount of
problems is to use
the regular "Add To
Cart" buttons
while you're
shopping on my
website. Go
through the regular
checkout where
you'll
create a Username
and Password.
THEN, on the next
page, you can click
to
"Pay with Paypal".
This will allow you
to go through the
steps under #4
above.
If you add items
directly to the
PayPal cart, you
skip the steps of
creating an account
on my website.
The choice is yours.
Either way, we'll
help you if you
"lose" the
download links using
PayPal. Just
let me know.
6. When the
download box
appears, click SAVE
to save the file to
your hard drive.
(Be sure you know where you are saving it to.
It'll make it a
whole lot easier to
find later.)
7. After the
download has
completed --
-- For XP or VISTA
OS, just double
click the zip file
icon that you saved
to a file on your
hard drive
just as you would for any
other file on your
computer and the
zipped file will
uncompress.
Then,
double-click the pdf
file. A box
will appear -- Click
"Open" -- and your
pattern file will
open
in your Adobe Reader
program.
Print.
-- If you are using
Windows 95, 98, ME,
NT or 2000 -- You
will need to
download and install
the
Winzip program from the link above.
After you have
installed Winzip --
double-click the zip
file
(pattern file) you saved to your
computer. The
Winzip window will
open. (On the
free version of
Winzip, just click "I Agree").
Double-click the pdf
pattern file and it
will open in your
Adobe Reader
program. Print.
And, that's all
there is to it!

To Order Downloads
by Mail -- Some
people still don't like
to use their credit card
on the internet.
That's ok. And,
some people don't use a
credit card at all.
That's ok, too.
You can STILL order
E-patterns. Write
a note on your order
form that you want the
patterns as "Downloads".
Include your
email
address and payment
(credit card or money
order only please, US
Funds). And
remember...you
do NOT
add postage costs.
When we receive your
order, I will set up the
downloads for you and
email
you the links where you
can pick up your
patterns.
